Deposits
A $100 deposit holds your date. You only pay it after your consult, once you have seen the design and the price. It comes off the final price on the day, and gift cards can pay it.
Rescheduling and cancelling
You can move your appointment once for free with 48 hours’ notice. With less notice, or a second move, the deposit is kept and a new one holds the new date. If your artist is ill, we move you to the first free day and your deposit carries over.
Late arrivals and no-shows
Up to 30 minutes late and we shorten the session. Later than that, or not at all, and the deposit is kept.
Age and ID
You must be 18 or over and bring a valid photo ID to every appointment. No exceptions, even with a parent’s consent.
Health and consent
You sign a consent form before we start. Tell us about blood thinners, pregnancy, diabetes, allergies or skin conditions. We may postpone if the skin is sunburned, broken or irritated, or if you have been drinking. Postponing for health never costs your deposit.
Touch-ups
Touch-ups are free for 90 days if a spot heals light. After that they cost the shop minimum. Work that faded from sun or skipped aftercare isn’t covered.
Prices and payment
The estimate on our booking page is a range. Your artist confirms the real price at the consult, before you pay anything. We take cards and cash. Tips are welcome, never expected.
Your design
Custom designs are drawn for you and never tattooed on anyone else. Flash is tattooed once, then comes off the wall. We photograph finished and healed work for our portfolio. Tell us if you would rather not be posted.
Privacy
The booking form collects your name, email, phone, idea, placement and size. If you have reference photos, send them by replying to our email. Only your artist and our front desk see your booking details, and only to plan your tattoo. We keep booking details for two years, then delete them. We never sell or share them. The newsletter sends one email a month, and every email has an unsubscribe link. To see or delete what we hold about you, email hello@magpie.tattoo.
